Within easy reach of our Cornish self catering cottages there are a host of interesting fishing villages such as Padstow, Port Isaac, Boscastle and Clovelly.

Millook, another wonderfully quiet cove close by attracts geologists from all over the world to see the chevron folds in the sandstone rock face.

You can explore the rolling countryside of Cornwall which offers tremendous variety, with woods, lakes, moors and farmland dotted with picturesque hamlets and towns. The local Parish Church dates back to XIIth Century and is certainly worth a visit.

Just nine miles away from the cottages, Bude offers supermarkets, restaurants, horse riding, Splash leisure pool and sports hall.

There are opportunities for climbing, fishing (sea, canal and lakeside) and golf. The new North Cornwall Cycle Trail, part of the new National Cycle Network, passes within 200yds of Treworgie Barton. For those who need a beach to crash out on, there is one to suit all needs from pebbly rock pools to wide open sandy bays up and down the coast.
