Helpful Holidays

Here you can search through our 500+ holiday cottages and houses all over the West Country: view availability and interior and exterior photos and book online. All our properties are regularly inspected by us and come with our personal recommendation. To view them, try our searchable map, add some possibilities to a shortlist and email it to a friend (or us) to discuss.

You'll find we give frank descriptions and further information on each cottage is available from our staff, all regular property visitors. They will make recommendations if you wish, talk you through your choices, give you personal insights and help you book. We’ve been a family business since 1982, a partnership of Su and Euan Bowater, joined by me in 1996, and the excellent team of now 23 who administer and inspect. Based in Chagford, within the Dartmoor National Park, we are at the heart of the West Country.
